That’s what the sign says when you enter Diamond Falls. A town of two thousand souls, surrounded by dense forest, blessed with breathtaking waterfalls and a coal mine right next to them. And not much else.
Or so it seems.
The truth? There’s something else: a story that draws in more tourists than the natural sights or the mine tours… and it’s the one story the locals refuse to talk about. The story of a murdered mother and a father who took his own life. A child who grew up with bloody shadows nesting in his mind. A man who became a monster, and learned how to stretch those shadows across the entire town.
